FAQ

What's the difference between steel shot and steel grit?
Steel shots are spherical particles, suitable for surface strengthening and cleaning; steel grits are angular particles with stronger cutting power, suitable for roughening and heavy rust removal.
How to choose the right size?
Smaller size gives finer treatment; larger size gives higher efficiency. For cast cleaning, SS0.8-SS1.2 recommended; for surface strengthening, SS0.6-SS1.0 recommended.
How does hardness affect performance?
Higher hardness gives stronger cutting power but shorter life; moderate hardness (HRC 40-50) provides optimal balance of cleaning efficiency and service life.
